With the Jubilee on its way, our homes have plenty of fun filled events planned so our residents can celebrate. Everyone is more than welcome to come and join in the fun with our staff and residents. Saturday 2nd
June, 2.00pm, Kidsley Grange - Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
Join the residents and staff at Kidsley
Grange to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. They’ve got plenty of stalls including
a raffle, cake stall & the Heanor Gate Beauty School doing manicures and
hand massage.
Sunday 3rd June, Valley Lodge - Diamond Jubilee Party
We’ll have fun & games followed by a tea party and entertainment from Kevin & Marie. Everyone is welcome & the dress code is sparkly clothes & diamonds.
Tuesday 5th June,
Codnor Park - Diamond & Tiara Day
To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee,
Codnor Park will be holding a ‘Diamond & Tiara Day.’ Come in your finest
outfit complete with diamonds & tiara. We’ll be serving a buffet lunch at 12pm for
all to enjoy!
Tuesday 5th June, 1.00pm - 4.00pm, King William - Jubilee Garden Party
Come and celebrate the Royal Jubilee with
the residents and staff at King William. We’ve got plenty going on including a
raffle, sweet stall, games stalls, Cream Teas & much more. Everyone is
welcome to join us!
Tuesday 5th June, 5pm, West Hallam - Jubilee Party
We will have a party to celebrate the Queen’s jubilee, we will be serving a buffet for everyone. Everyone is welcome to attend & donations will go to the residents fund.
Saturday 9th June, 2.00pm, The Firs - Street Party
The Firs are celebrating the Diamond Jublee
& her Majesty’s official birthday with a Street Party accompanied with a
beautiful Jubilee tea including a glass of bubbly to toast the Queen. We’ve got
plenty going on including a ‘Best of British’ Hamper Raffle, Bottle Stall, Home
Produce Stall, Chocolate Foundation Stall, Chocolate Basket Auction and much
more.
Also to celebrate the Jubilee, we have set Ashmere residents, their relatives and staff a competition for the most creative stamp/coin. Everyone is welcome to take part, please see the Home Manager or Activities Co-ordinator for more details. The winner recieves money for their home's resident fund as well as a set of 2012 Commemorative Coins from the Royal Mint. We'll show you the winner & runner up's designs once they've been judged & chosen the week of the Jubilee.
