Package :
Rates of pay up to £6.60 per hour with additional bonuses available. Further increments are offered for the successful completion of NVQ 4 training in conjunction with good appraisal reports. Annual paid holiday entitlement will be 28 days pro rata with an enhanced rate of pay for working bank holidays.
Description :
We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual for a full / part time Senior Care Assistant position to be employed on a rota basis in order to deliver the high quality service expected from our clients.
This role will be perfect for career passionate individuals who are either already NVQ 3 qualified or willing to be trained. The post requires an individual with the ability to organise and delegate staff with an eye for detail, Boots MDS training and extensive knowledge of illnesses suffered by the elderly and health and safety precautions.
Applicants must have good written and oral communication skills, the ability to deal with emergency situations, as well as having attained NVQ2 in Health & Social Care, with at least two years experience of the client group. Previous UK work experience is essential as two references are required (of which one must be previous employer) and undergo a full Criminal Records Bureau check. The successful candidate will be placed on a six month probationary period after which their performance will be reviewed and, if satisfactory, a permanent position offered.
