Ashmere Derbyshire is looking for a committed Nurse to join our dedicated team at The Firs Care Home with Nursing in Codnor, Derbyshire.

 

Registered General Nurses are integral to the delivery of high quality care and support to our care homes. The role will involve providing day-to-day personal care and other activities for residents. The role is skilled and demanding.

 

You will be at the very heart of our industry, so you are expected to be reliable, dependable and committed to make a difference in our client’s facility.

 

The successful applicant will possess a Diploma in Nursing and hold a UKCC Pin Number. Also demonstrate the ability to deal with emergency situations, Boots MDS training, extensive knowledge of illnesses suffered by the elderly, understand health and safety precautions and demonstrate good written and oral communication skills. Applicants must have an eye for detail and be willing to work within a three weekly shift rota system to include days, evenings, nights and weekends.

 

Rates of pay are dependent on qualifications and experience which will be discussed at interview. Appointment will be subject to two satisfactory references, medical clearance, an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and a six month probationary period.

Kitchen Assistants are integral to the delivery of high quality services to our care homes. The role of will include preparation and distribution of drink, refreshments and meals for residents, and maintain the kitchen, including cleaning.

 

 

You will be at the very heart of our industry, so you are expected to be reliable, dependable and committed to make a difference in our client’s facility.

 

The successful applicant will have good written and oral communication skills. Previous experience is desired but not essential as full training will be provided. All mandatory training provided and NVQ courses encouraged.   Applicants must be willing to work flexibly, with possible evening and weekends shifts.

 

Rates of pay are dependent on qualifications and experience which will be discussed at interview. Appointment will be subject to two satisfactory references, medical clearance, an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and a six month probationary period.

Ashmere Derbyshire is looking for a committed Deputy Care Home Manager to join our dedicated team at our 64 bed Valley Lodge Care Home with Nursing in Matlock, Derbyshire.

 

Deputy Care Home Managers are integral to the delivery of high quality care and support to our care homes. The role will involve development of strong working relationship with both, clients and their relatives as well as the wider community. Main duties will include recruiting, training and supervising the staff working within the home in order to ensure delivery of the high quality service expected. They will also be responsible for monitoring the Homes performance, fundraising, budget monitoring and management and the development of clear policies and practices regarding quality standards.

 

You will be at the very heart of our industry, so you are expected to be reliable, dependable and committed to make a difference in our client’s facility.

 

The successful applicant will possess a minimum of NVQ3 (QCF3) and demonstrate willingness to work towards QCF5 and/or RMA. They will have proven experience within a supervisory position within the Care industry with the ability to organise and delegate staff.  They will also demonstrate good written and oral communication skills, have the ability to deal with emergency situations, Boots MDS training and knowledge of illnesses suffered by the elderly.
