Description

We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual for a Registered General Nurse position to be employed on a rota basis in order to deliver the high quality service expected from our clients.

 

The role requires an individual with the ability to organise and delegate staff with an eye for detail, Boots MDS training and extensive knowledge of illnesses suffered by the elderly and health and safety precautions.

 

Applicants must have good written and oral communication skills, the ability to deal with emergency situations. Previous UK work experience is essential as two references are required (of which one must be previous employer) and undergo a full Criminal Records Bureau check. The successful candidate will be placed on a six month probationary period after which their performance will be reviewed and, if satisfactory, a permanent position offered.

We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious but friendly individual to manage our flagship 64 bed Care Home with Nursing for the Elderly. The successful candidate will be able to develop strong working relationships with both; the outside community, as well as our clients and their relatives. Key to this is monitoring the Homes performance, some fundraising, working within budgets and developing clear policies and practices regarding quality standards. Working alongside the HR Manager the successful candidate will also be required to recruit, train and supervise staff working within the home in order to deliver the high quality service expected from our clients.

 

This role will be perfect for a career passionate individual who are either already NVQ 4 / RMA qualified or willing to be trained. With the ability to organise all aspects across the home, and an eye for detail. MDS training and extensive knowledge of illnesses suffered by the elderly and health and safety precautions.
