Each Ashmere home has a number of communal areas where residents can meet, chat and share in activities. Comfortable sitting rooms, dining rooms and well equipped kitchens producing fine home cooking are a feature in every home. We have even installed libraries into many homes, stocked with a range of fiction, non-fiction and reference books. And if being engrossed in good book isn’t your cup of tea, most homes also have a hairdressing salon.
We are proud of our outdoor facilities too. At each home we provide well maintained gardens with manicured lawns and well stocked flower beds. Some homes even provide vegetable plots for residents to grow their own fruit and vegetables. There’s also seated patio areas where you can enjoy the sun, or have a game of cards.
In addition, we have a range of shared resources. The flagship amongst these is our exclusive health spa. This excellently equipped facility, based at Sutton Court, consists of a hydrotherapy pool, jacuzzi, sauna and physiotherapy room. Whether it’s treatment for aches and pains in muscles or joints, or whether it’s for relaxing and enjoyment, the facility is available to all of our residents. Also available is our fleet of minibuses, to take you on organised trips and visits. And having a number of homes has other benefits too. We are always happy to organise day trips or short stays at other homes for residents who want to make new friends or simply have a change of scenery for a long weekend.
