Residents and Staff at Valley Lodge are getting excited to see Michaela, our resident artist, adding her finishing touches to Valley Views (formerly the Extra Care Unit). If you keep up with our newsletter, you will have seen how much work Michaela has put into the murals in the last few months but she is finally seeing the finish line. Over the Christmas period, Michaela has added a beautiful bird house with 3 doves onto one wall and her 'Pièce de résistance', the 12ft blank wall has finally been decorated with bee hives, a sleeping cat and an apple tree to name a few. Both residents and staff are thrilled with what Michaela has done and can't wait for her to start on the dining room next.
