Residents at our two Codnor homes have been lucky enough to trial our new partnership with 'Hortihealth UK'. Hortihealth UK are a local company who deliver horticulture therapy to elderly and disabled people. Residents at both The Firs & Codnor Park will be trialing our new Gardening Club and if successful, the club will be spread to all our homes.
Our residents really enjoyed planting their daffodil bulbs into small pots. Each resident has put their plant on their windowsill in their bedroom & are now looking forward to warmer weather to see them flower. They had such a good time at the Gardening Club that they're already looking forward to Hortihealth coming back in a couple of weeks time.
We look forward to seeing more gardening taking place with Hortihealth and our residents. Its was wonderful to see them all smiling and getting stuck in!
