West Hallam's Fete took place at the weekend and plenty of relatives, friends and the local community turned up to spend their money on a good cause and enjoy the beautiful summer weather. There were plenty of stalls including a Bric a Brac, Raffle, Cakes, Bottle on a String and also a Bouncy Castle. The most popular stand of the day was the face painting stand manned by staff member, Rebecca Ault who made a huge effort by turning up to the fete as a clown. Altogether, an amazing £357.71 was raised for the resident's fund! That money will be spent on trips out, activities and items for the home, the top of the West Hallam shopping list is some garden furniture so residents can enjoy the garden during the beautiful summer weather. Thank you so much to everyone who attended the fete and all the staff for helping out.
The next Summer Fete will be at Smalley Hall on Saturday 27th July from 2-4pm. All are welcome to join us!
