Near to Ripley and Heanor, as well as Derby and Nottingham, Condor Park is conveniently located to shops and restaurants and benefits from good bus links. The home is set in lovely surroundings with plenty of grounds to walk in. There is a lovely garden with raised beds to potter in accessed from the main lounge; and a small garden with a greenhouse and raised beds for the really keen gardeners. There is also a lovely park area within the grounds with benches to enjoy the scenery.
The facilities at Codnor Park are first class. There is a bright, comfortable main lounge, a smaller Garden lounge, both recently redecorated, and a large lounge upstairs with computers. There is a library and large dining room. Our resident cat Molly and marine fish tank are both there to keep you company too.
There is a very attractive lifestyle on offer, should you wish to take part. There are regular trips arranged to local attractions. There are themed coffee mornings, something of a favourite at Codnor Park, such as the La De Da morning, where everyone dresses in their best clobber! Regular entertainers and singers get everyone going with all the classics. We even have access to a heated swimming pool and spa with full facilities.
Our onsite activities coordinator runs regular classes to encourage new hobbies such as painting and gardening, and holds regular games and quiz evenings. There is also the chance to learn new skills using our state of the art touch screen computers! You could be emailing friends, chatting to your Grandson on Facebook or talking to relatives anywhere in the world face to face with our web cameras! Whatever your interests, or should you want to relax and enjoy the quite life, we can cater for your needs.
Why cook for yourself when excellent, home cooked food is prepared daily? The menu is thoughtfully considered to ensure it is kept varied and interesting, whatever your dietary needs. All laundry is done on site daily.
