Kidsley Grange Care Home with Nursing is a long established care home providing 24 hour nursing care in a homely, friendly environment. We are situated on the outskirts of Smalley village on the main bus route between Derby and the market town of Heanor. The Home has open views over Shipley Country Park, which has wheelchair access leading to pleasant county walks, with a gift shop and tea-rooms on site.
The Home has both double and single rooms, some en-suite and is at present undergoing refurbishment to improve the facilities on offer. Residents are positively encouraged to personalise their rooms as they wish; we ensure that all our Residents are treated as individuals and are able to exercise choice in all aspects of their care.
Our Residents are cared for by a well trained team of carers and qualified nursing staff that have the Residents’ well-being and interests at heart. Each Resident has an individual, regularly updated care plan. Our kitchen always provides a varied daily menu of fresh, nutritious food and all dietary needs are catered for.
The Home has regular visits from an optician, a chiropodist and a physiotherapist as well as providing an onsite hairdresser, laundry service and library. Regular church services and a program of activities are on offer to provide stimulation and entertainment for Residents.
Our friendly, well trained staff ensure quality care for all Residents and are always happy to give help or advice whilst respecting privacy and dignity of individuals at all times.
