CQC Inspection Reports: View Report
The King William is situated on the outskirts of Ripley and is set in beautifully maintained gardens overlooking a scenic view of Derbyshire. We are only a ten minute walk from Ripley town centre and we are fortunate to be within easy reach of Matlock, Crich Tramway Museum and the famous Derbyshire Peak Dales.
The Care Home itself has plenty of character, having once been a public house. Now transformed into a 28 bed residential home, we can cope with all aspects of caring for the elderly and physically disabled. As well as providing our Residents with individual and unique bedrooms, the King William has three communal lounges and a dining room, as well as a bathroom and toilet facilities to suit your needs. Home cooked food is a speciality, as are our special themed nights which gives the chef the opportunity to create authentic cuisine which is enjoyed by all.
The Home is Quality Premium rated by Derbyshire County Council Social Services and all of our staff are trained to the standards of care set by the C.S.C.I. (Commission for Social Care Inspection). You will find our staff to be friendly, polite and happy to go out of their way to ensure your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Above all, we offer privacy, choices and rights to all Residents and would like to invite you to visit us and experience the homely atmosphere at the King William, whether for day care, respite, or long term care.
