The King William is situated on the outskirts of Ripley and is set in beautifully maintained gardens overlooking a scenic view of Derbyshire. We are only ten minutes walk from Ripley town centre and we are fortunate to be within easy reach of Matlock, Critch Tramway Museum and the famous Derbyshire Peak Dales.

This home is bursting with character, having once been a public house. Now transformed into a 28 bed residential home, it benefits from some truly unique and individual bedrooms. A number of our residents have pets and your pets will always be considered. The standard of the bedroom accommodation means that you will have to go a long way to find better!

There is a further, newly decorated garden lounge with access to a lovely spacious garden, with raised beds for those who like to potter. There is also a fully equipped craft room to pursue all kinds of hobbies from arts and crafts, to painting and model making. This home is very active with regular trips to the shops and local attractions, live entertainment, access to centralised facilities and exercise classes, there is a whole lot to keep you busy at King William.

There are regular gardening and cookery clubs at this home, where residents can take part in a group activity. The new state of the art computers will allow you to learn new skills and interact with the community and your wider family. Why not send emails to family or chat on web camera? There are plenty of news things to try during our computer tutorials. However should the quite life be more to your liking, there is plenty of communal space for you to pursue your own leisure time.
