Smalley Hall Care Home is a 27 bed residential home on the outskirts of Smalley Village, Derbyshire. It is a lovely building having once been part of Smalley Hall which stands in grounds separate to the Home.
The Home has grounds with lovely views and trees that encouraged the birds and other wildlife. We have a wonderful large conservatory that leads onto a patio area where the Residents can sit in the summer, and is used for summer fairs.
We encourage all of our Residents to have an active involvement in making the home their own. This summer they won a gardening competition having done most of the gardening themselves.
We can offer our Residents with the opportunity to get involved on many activities, including trips out and games, flower arranging and exercise classes. We also run several successful events and functions to help raise funds for Resident trips
Our Residents have access to a hairdresser who visits regularly, along with both a chiropodist and a physiotherapist. The local vicar comes to take service and Holy Communion for the Residents that wish to take part. There is a choice of home cooked foods as well as catering for diabetics and other special dietary requirements.
Our staff and management would like to welcome you to visit us whether it be for a day, respite care or long term care. If you would like to arrange a visit, our Manager (Mrs. Rosamund Morley) and Deputy Manager (Mrs. Helen White) are more than willing to answer any questions you may have.
