Multi-Site Activities Co-ordinator
At Ashmere Derbyshire Limited we are looking for local people who are passionate about providing an outstanding level of care and going the extra mile for our residents. We are currently looking for a peripatetic activities co-ordinator to work across our 7 homes in Derbyshire.
Ashmere Derbyshire Limited is a family owned company of 7 homes spread across the Derbyshire area all of which are commutable by major bus routes. We have achieved investors in people and are constantly striving to improve the care we provide to our residents and the experience that employees have with us.
As an activities co-ordinator you will be responsible for the activities offering in the home. You will be formulating an activity plan for each individual resident by spending time getting to know their past, likes and dislikes and families. You will arranging suitable trips out for our residents as well as arranging for entertainment to come into the homes. You will also build up links in the community and build relationships to benefit the residents. A full driving license is essential for this role.
You will also have responsibility for all fund raising for the home and the organising, promoting and running of home events such as Christmas Fete’s and Summer Garden Parties.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who are flexible, creative, fun and have a can do attitude.
