Ashmere Derbyshire Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Media and Community Relations Manager to work from our Head Office in Heanor.

Ashmere Derbyshire Ltd operates a group of seven Care Homes committed to providing outstanding elderly care, supporting our residents to maintain local community links and an active social life.

We are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic person to help develop our community relationships and raise our social media presence.

The key responsibilities will be:

40% PR

· Maximising our brand exposure from current and new partnership opportunities with the local community.

· Utilise our busy social calendar to create, develop, and deliver social media content for our homes across a variety of platforms.

· Work closely with our Activities Manager to bring the sparkle and publicity through a variety of media outlets to key events throughout the year.

· Support with delivering internal award and social events as well as entries into external industry awards.

40% Marketing

· Have strong brand awareness to maintain continuity whilst working with our external design teams to ensure the creation, production, and delivery of marketing materials across print and digital, both internal and external channels

· Planning integrated, impactful, multi-channel creative campaigns that extend our reach and drive awareness and engagement

· Management of the company website.

· Monthly reporting looking at the website, social media activity, jobs boards and sales to show the return on investment

· All general administration duties relevant to the role

20% Sales

· Pass on incoming queries to relevant departments for placements within the homes and maintain an overview of query progression in line with KPIs.

· Production and feedback of KPI’s to the Care Home management team and Company Director

If you have a positive attitude, forward thinking with the ability to prioritise, manage and co-ordinate a number or projects simultaneously. We are open to working with a graduate or someone with a proven track record looking to develop their skills. You should be an excellent communicator, creative and who has a strong eye for detail.

This is a full-time position based in Heanor but will require regular travel around our locations and community partners therefore a driving license is essential. Salary for the role is £22-30k a year (depending on experience)
