Working in our homes, there are a number of roles that are key to providing outstanding care to our residents.

Our Home and Deputy Manager’s are responsible for the overall running of the homes supporting our staff and residents.

Our Care Assistants & Dementia Support Workers provide day to day care for our residents, whilst our Domestic teams work hard to ensure that the home is kept well presented. Our kitchen teams prepare delicious meals and cook a range of homemade bakes & cakes.

We also have Hairdressers and Receptionists working in our homes, as well as a range of roles in Maintenance and Head Office providing support to the management team and employees.

Training

We actively support our staff to develop themselves both personally and professionally by offering a comprehensive range of in-house training courses. These not only cover all mandatory training requirements in the care sector, but they also offer ‘above & beyond’ training to ensure our staff have the knowledge and understanding to provide excellent support for our residents.

You are our most valuable asset; you are central to the service our residents receive and therefore the success of our Home. As a member of our team, I want you to feel part of the Ashmere family which is why in 2016 I decided to begin working in partnership with Investors In People to improve how Ashmere engage and nurture our most precious resource, you.

Since then, Ashmere have matured to embrace the concept that the best way to grow and improve is to pursue constructive feedback. Constantly striving to develop new ideas and innovate change in how we support our family to flourish.
