Christine Blacknell

What made you work for Ashmere? The opportunity to be able to talk about people living with dementia, without anyone telling me to be quiet.

What would you say is the biggest challenge about your role? I don’t find my role challenging, I enjoy it

What’s the most unusual fact about yourself that not a lot of people know? I was an avid Osmond fan from the age of 11 and still have all their albums (19 of them).

What would we be likely to bump into you doing at the weekend? Walking my dog Oscar with my husband Jay

What inspires you? Other people

My party trick is: I’m not a party girl and don’t like being the centre of attention in those kind of circumstances. It’s my worst nightmare

If I was born a boy, my parents would have named me: Graham

My dream car registration plate would be: CR15 BLK

My favourite cocktail is: Pina Collada

I cringe at: Stupid comedy programs where people make an unnecessary fool of themselves

I laugh at: Ryan Reynolds. He definitely floats my boat

On my way to work I: Plan whether I have time to call into McDonalds for a coffee and am often disappointed because of traffic delays

If I won the lottery, I would: Share some and spend alot

My guilty pleasure is: Thornton’s chocolate covered Turkish delight

My home from home is: Anywhere my husband is

The best piece of advice I’ve ever had is: To live a life in fear is to live half a life

I am never without: My lipstick
