Sam started with Ashmere in the summer of 2014. She oversees and facilitates all of the external training as well as devising, writing and delivering all of the in-house training for Ashmere staff. Sam was a health & social care practitioner for many years before deciding to go into teaching. She has taught a wide range of subjects and gets to put all of her knowledge and experience to good use every day in her very varied role. Sam enjoys getting out and about and spending time with residents and staff at all of Ashmere’s eight homes when she is not delivering training and she is also Ashmere’s Data Protection Officer which is a very different role altogether! Sam is a ‘crazy cat lady’ (self- titled) When she is not relaxing at home with her cats she likes to spend her spare time doing aerial yoga and meditation.
