Senior Care Assistant – Heanor Park Care Home
We are looking for local people who are passionate about providing an outstanding level of care and going the extra mile for our residents. And we currently have a vacancy at our Heanor Park Care home working full or part time hours a week.
As a Senior Care Assistant with Ashmere you will be communicating effectively and professionally with the residents, colleagues, relatives and visitors at all times. You will show compassion towards our residents and ensuring that their needs are met. You will assist with personal care and assist with meal times when needed.
You will be responsible for the running of the shift including staff allocation, administrating medication, liaising with the home manager, GP’s, nurses, and other outside professionals which can all make for a busy shift!
You will need to have experience of administrating medication and possess or be willing to work towards your NVQ3 qualification.
