Ashmere has been in our family for three generations! With decades of experience providing professional care to the great communities of Derbyshire for as long as we can remember.

We are full of passion, dedication and commitment. Our doors are open 365 days of the year across all of our care homes.

We take great pride knowing that our care homes and care teams will make such a positive impact on our residents’ lives. We never take our privileged position for granted and are always looking for ways in which we can improve the experience for our residents and also the care provided by our excellent care team.

As a mature family business Ashmere Derbyshire Ltd prides itself on having a very short gap from the bedside to boardroom. For this reason, whilst we wish to grow and develop the services and locations in which we operate, we will never do this at the expense of our on-hand ethos.

Our Staff

We recognise that introducing new staff to a person’s home can have a disruptive effect, both on those in our care and the staff team, we use a values-based system of recruiting to ensure those that join our team share the same ethos as we do. 

We will work to ensure no member of the team feels that their role is in any way less important than any other. It is important to us to nurture the talent that already exists within our team, so we endeavour to promote self-development and learning to those we already know share our values.
