Job Description : Ashmere Residents Take Part In Christmas Cake Competition

Location :

The aim of the competition was to get all residents involved in making the cake with little participation from the staff.

Laura Stone, Activity Lead, was delighted to see all the residents taking part in the competition and enjoyed hearing all about the cakes and the ideas behind them.

She said: “It has been fantastic to see the residents getting hands-on with the creation of the cake and from all the feedback we received, all residents enjoyed it as well.

All the team at Head Office judged the cakes under three categories with the winners being:

  • Best taste and overall winner – The Firs
  • Best decoration – Kidsley Grange
  • Best for Resident participation – King William
